Visqueen Gas Barrier Membrane

Visqueen Gas Barrier offers a safe solution for the protection of buildings against methane, radon and carbon dioxide when installed in accordance with the relevant codes of practice.

Visqueen Gas Barrier is a BBA certified multi-layer reinforced polyethylene membrane with an integral aluminium foil. For ease of identification on site Visqueen Gas membrane is coloured blue on one side and silver on the reverse. The gas membrane combines strength and performance with flexibility making it easy to detail and install on site.

Visqueen Liquid Gas Membrane

Visqueen liquid gas membrane compiles with BS 8485:2015 & A1:2019 industry standards offering a safe solution for the protection of buildings against methane and carbon dioxide when installed in accordance with the relevant codes of practice.

Visqueen Liquid Gas Membrane requires no mixing and is suitable for damp proofing, gas proofing and waterproofing a variety of substrates including concrete, masonry, and metal, above and below ground level including retaining walls, cast concrete, precast concrete, and steelwork. The product is ideal for complex detailing and difficult to reach areas.

The liquid is suitable for use on insulated concrete formwork (ICF) as a priming solution to provide the optimum surface prior to the application of Visqueen Self Adhesive Membrane, Visqueen Gas Resistant Self-Adhesive Membrane or VisqueenPro Detailing Strip.

Visqueen Low Perm Membrane

Visqueen Low Perm Gas Membranes is BBA certified and complies with NHBC Amber 1. The Low Gas Membrane is used above a precast suspended segmental ground floor system, for example a beam and block floor.

Visqueen Low Permeability Gas Membrane offers a safe solution for the protection of buildings against radon, when installed in accordance with the relevant codes of practice. Visqueen Low Permeability Gas Membrane is a robust co-polymer thermoplastic membrane; for ease of identification on site the membrane is coloured yellow.

The Visqueen gas membrane can also be used as a high-performance radon membrane and/or damp-proof membrane positioned within the ground floor construction either above or below the structural floor. The product is not intended for use where there is a risk of hydrostatic pressure. It is flexible enough to easy detail and install on site.

Visqueen Radon Membrane R400

Visqueen Radon Membrane R400 is BBA certified thick co-polymer thermoplastic membrane that is suitable for use in the full protection of buildings from the ingress of radon gas. The membrane can be positioned within the ground floor construction either above or below the structural floor.

Visqueen Radon Membrane also acts as a damp proof membrane but is not intended for use where there is the risk of hydrostatic pressure. Visqueen Radon Membrane can be used in most common floor constructions. It is installed in a similar way to a damp proof membrane, but with much greater attention paid to workmanship and detailing to achieve effective sealing at all locations.

Visqueen Ultimate GeoSeal Membrane

Visqueen GeoSeal Membrane is BDA certified and complies with CIRIA C748:2014 industrial standard for volatile organic compounds (VOC) protection. The membrane also complies with BS 8485:2015 & A1:2019 standard for methane and carbon dioxide (CO2) protection. It is a high-quality 1mm thick robust hydrocarbon, volatile organic compound (VOC) and a gas resistant waterproofing membrane. It is coloured grey on the upper surface and black on the reverse. The grey surface is textured to aid adhesion to cast concrete.

It is suitable for use as a barrier membrane for use with below ground reinforced concrete structures e.g., basements, retaining walls, lift pits and car parks. The barrier also prevents the ingress of harmful levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and hazardous ground gases.

Visqueen Ultimate HC Bloc Membrane

Visqueen Ultimate HC Bloc membrane is BDA certified and complies with CIRA C748:2014 industry standard for volatile organic compounds (VOC) protection. HC Bloc membrane a high-quality single membrane and is suitable for use as a barrier membrane for a variety of applications where harmful levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) exist.

Visqueen Ultimate HC Blok is suitable for use in all types of buildings to prevent the ingress of harmful levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The barrier can be positioned above a solid concrete ground floor slab or above a precast suspended segmental ground floor system, e.g., beam and block floor.

The barrier can also be used in all types of buildings to prevent the ingress of harmful levels of ground gases e.g., methane, carbon dioxide and radon. The barrier also acts as a damp proof membrane. In this application, the barrier can be positioned above or below a solid concrete ground floor slab or above a precast suspended segmental ground floor system, e.g., beam and block floor.

The product is not intended for use where there is a risk of hydrostatic pressure.

Visqueen RadonBlok Membrane 600

Visqueen Radon Membrane 600 is IAB certified and independently tested proven radon resistant and conforms to BR 211:2015 industry guidance for Radon protection. The RadonBlok membrane 600 manufactured from a thick co-polymer thermoplastic membrane that is suitable for use in the protection of buildings from the ingress of radon gas.
